The Bears Den was founded in 1975. For the past 35 years our family and hunters
have taken great pride in the conservation of black bears through ethical
hunting. Understanding how hunting affects black bears helps to ensure that
they will be here to hunt for many years to come. I have started using
the slogan "Family owned and hunter led for over 35 years". Over 85% of
our hunters are repeat hunters that have been coming for up to 30+ years, they
have been the ones that have led the way. Our hunters understand that it's
not about the "kill", but the hunt, you don't have to harvest an animal to be
